Cami Cavalls route to Alfuri<\/h2>\r\nMenorca is an ideal island for the hiker. The “ Cam\u00ed de cavalls \u201d,<\/b> The trail that surrounds its perimeter is an inexhaustible source of spectacular landscapes. A particularly rewarding excursion is the one that leads us to Cala Pilar from Cam\u00ed de Alfur\u00ed.<\/b> On the Me1 road, from Mah\u00f3n to Ciudadela, past Ferrer\u00edas, there is a detour to the right that takes the Cam\u00ed de Alfur\u00ed; Cala Pilar is advertised on the posters. The road is paved at the beginning, then it turns into a dirt track that runs through farmland and pastures on various farms dedicated to cow breeding and milk production. This section of the road is already quite beautiful, and depending on the time of year we will find green tancas full of cereal and flowers or golden fields interspersed with pine and holm oak forests. At the end of the road we find a parking lot where the end of the stage is indicated by vehicle. We must continue on foot. And now is where the good starts. Leaving the farm houses on our left, we enter a path that climbs not too steeply through a hundred-year-old curb with sandstone soil. Walking this walk is a feast for our senses, including smell, as we cross a multicolored forest with various species of flora, shrubs, pine forests, wild olive trees and other native species. After a not too demanding walk, although not short, we reached the biggest visual prize of the day, as we appeared on top of a cliff with a fabulous panorama. At our feet a blue and green sea stretches, toasted sands bathed by crystal clear waters, reddish rocky walls due to the effect of the iron that hide its slopes. Cala Pilar.\r\n\r\nNow we have two options, since we access the cam\u00ed de cavalls. One option is to go down to La Cala and take a bath before eating the sandwiches that we carry in our backpack. The second option is to continue on the cam\u00ed de cavalls<\/b> to the left and head towards Algallarens<\/b> , where we will find two virgin beaches<\/b> of exceptional beauty. This second option commits at least another couple of hours walking through unforgettable landscapes. If we opt for this longer excursion and we are not athletes and do not want to undo the road, we can order a taxi in Algallarens to return us to our car parked in Alfur\u00ed. We can also do an operation with two cars to avoid the taxi option.\r\n
