Travel back in time at the Naveta des Tudons<\/h3>\r\n

Just 5 kilometers from Ciutadella you will find one of the most emblematic elements of Talayotic Menorca: the Naveta des Tudons. It is a collective tomb built only by inserting stones, without the need for other material.

Hiking route from Punta Nati to Cala Morell<\/h3>\r\n

If you enjoy hiking and want to discover the landscapes of the island, then this route is for you. The road that goes from Punta Nati to Cala Morell is section 9 of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls. This journey is 7 kilometers long and takes approximately 3 hours, although the journey is not easy at all.<\/p>\r\n

It is one of the so-called “dry areas” of Menorca and this makes the landscape different, dominated by bushy vegetation and shaped by the influence of the “Tramontana” wind. The path runs mostly in the cliffs area, so you get beautiful views of the coast and the coves of Menorca.

Discover Menorca from Monte Toro<\/h3>\r\n

Only 385 meters high are enough for Monte Toro to be the mountain and the highest point in Menorca. From there you will be able to observe the entire contour of the island and, if the day is clear, you will be able to see the neighboring island Majorca.<\/p>\r\n

Not only will you enjoy a panoramic view of the Mediterranean, but there you can also visit the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Toro, built on a Gothic church. The interior is made up of a nave with three chapels and highlights the figure of the Virgin carved in wood.<\/p>\r\n

Explore S\u2019Albufera des Grau<\/h3>\r\n

With more than 5,000 hectares and the most important body of fresh water in Menorca, the S\u2019Albufera des Grau National Park is a protected natural area and the largest Menorcan biosphere reserve.<\/p>\r\n

It has three trails that you can travel on foot or by bicycle, in two of them you can enjoy bird watching, and in the third you find a tree path that passes very close to the beach.<\/p>\r\n

Entrance to the park is free and it has a parking lot to the south of the nearby soccer field and a smaller one on the shore of the beach. It is open 24 hours a day all year round, but the reception center is open from 9 am to 3 pm.
